ToyMakers of Yulee is a 100% volunteer non-profit organization with a mission to make smiles one toy at a time. We produce and donate brightly
painted hand-made wooden toys to sick and needy children in stressful situations.
Since our beginning in July, 2017, we have donated thousands of toys to sick and needy children through well-organized agencies in Nassau and Duval Counties, including the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office, Nassau County Fire Rescue, Yulee Primary, Elementary and Wildlight schools, Yulee United Methodist Food Pantry, Micah’s Place, Family Services and in Duval County, University of Florida Health.
Volunteers include both individuals and organizations that help the ToyMakers of Yulee reach their goal of providing a steady flow of handmade wooden toys to sick and needy children.
Individuals have a variety of jobs to choose from:
Tracing Toy Patterns, Cutting, Routing, Drilling, Sanding, Painting, Assembling, Decorating, Bagging, Tool Maintenance, Inventory and Accounting.
Cash and in-kind donations furnish supplies we need to serve children in need or stressful situations.
Our financial health depends upon donations that come from individuals, service clubs, and local businesses. We receive in-kind donations of material such as wood and child-safe paint. We need cash donations to buy wheels, axles, machinery, and other toy making supplies such as sandpaper, saw blades, drills, etc. As an all-volunteer organization, there are no paid management or employees. All donations go toward the toy making process and maintenance of tools. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
To make a donation: mail checks to ToyMakers of Yulee, Yulee United Methodist Church, PO Box 127, Yulee, Florida 32041
